ISMICT2026Information
The 20th IEEE International Symposium on Medical Information and Communication Technology, ISMICT 2026, aims to establish a forum to present new research and development results, exchange ideas, discuss practices, and share experiences among Technology and Medicine sides, including healthcare, wellness, clinical therapy, and surgery, as well as ICT, mechanical, and biomedical engineering. Moreover, activities of standard, regulation and business for medical ICT devices, systems and services will be promoted by national and international government and industry. ISMICT 2026 will be held in Osaka Metropolitan University Academic Extension Center, 28-30 September 2026. Papers are invited on topics including, but not limited to, the following:
- Communication systems for medical applications
- Body area network (BAN) technologies
- Privacy and security issues
- Wearable and implantable devices
- Wellness and sports training
- Medical device regulatory science
- Rehabilitation and activity monitoring
- Pervasive health care and patient monitoring
- Antennas and radio propagation for Wireless BAN
- Internet of Medical Things
- AI/data analytics for medicine, healthcare and welfare
- Intelligent hospitals
Authors are invited to submit full papers of 4-6 pages or short papers of 1-3 pages. The review process is according to the IEEE regulations. Accepted and presented papers will be included in the IEEE Xplore.

All attendees should be registered.
Each accepted paper needs at least ONE early full registration other than student registrations, otherwise the paper cannot be included in the symposium proceedings. In addition, do not forget to enter your Paper ID in the registration form.
